Jane Vorburger completed her dance training
at the Academy of the Maryland Youth Ballet. She joined American
Ballet Theatre at age 16 and spent 5 years with the Company performing
principal, soloist and corps de ballet roles in the US and abroad.
She then studied Contact Improvisation and choreography at Oberlin
College and completed her Master of Fine Arts degree in dance
at New York University's Tisch School for the Arts. Vorburger
teaches and choreographs at colleges, private studios and festivals
around the USA including American Ballet Theatre's Jacqueline
Kennedy Onassis School, Marymount Manhattan College, Alvin Ailey
American Dance Center, and New York University's Tisch School
for the Arts.
