As a special feature of ABT’s 70th Anniversary Season at the Met,
American Ballet Theatre is pleased to offer the opportunity to attend
the following free pre-performance talks to ticketholders of that evening's
performance:
Thursday, June 10 at 6:00pm
List Hall, Metropolitan Opera House
ABT Dancer Alumni will reminisce about choreographers
who shaped ABT’s 70-year history, such as Antony Tudor, Sir Kenneth
MacMillan, Sir Frederick Ashton, Jerome Robbins, George Balanchine,
Agnes de Mille, Leonide Massine, among others. Panelists will include
Eleanor D'Antuono, Catherine Horn, Terry Orr, Donald Saddler, Ethan
Stiefel and Martine van Hamel. Alex Ewing, son of founding member Lucia
Chase and author of Bravura: Lucia Chase and American Ballet Theatre,
will serve as moderator.

ABT Dancer Alumni will reminisce about the many thrilling
performances through the years of ABT’s 1944 commission, Fancy
Free, from Jerome Robbins. Panelists will include Eliot Feld, William
Glassman, Kevin McKenzie, Terry Orr, Craig Salstein and Eddie Verso.
Alex Ewing, son of founding member Lucia Chase and author of Bravura:
Lucia Chase and American Ballet Theatre, will serve as moderator.
