SUPER AUDITIONS for a new production of LE CORSAIRE Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Washington, D.C. Performances: April 11-14, 2013 Casting will be held SUNDAY, APRIL 7, 2013 6:00pm-9:30pm at the Kennedy Center Opera House

19 Male Supers
19 men Strong, slender to medium build,approx. 5'8"-6'2" Ages 16-40
15 Female Supers
10 young women Dancer type, 5'6"-5'9" Ages 17-25 5 girls 4'10"-5'2" Ages 10-14

Seeking child dancers to perform with ABT in LE CORSAIRE Los Angeles, California Performances in July Casting will be held FRIDAY, MARCH 15, 2013 6:00pm in downtown Los Angeles *** All dancers must be prepared to stay until 8:30pm ***

Dancers must meet the following criteria:
GIRLS Height: 4’9” – 5’1’ tall, at least 11 years old Must have at least 1 yearr pointe experience; 4 years dance experience BOYS & GIRLS Height: 4’8” – 4’10’ tall, at least 9 years old Should have 2 years dance experience
Audition Attire:
GIRLS - Leotard, Tights, Ballet Slippers or Pointe Shoes, Hair in Bun BOYS - T-Shirt, Tights, and Ballet Slippers
GIRLS & BOYS MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR ALL REHEARSALS AND PERFORMANCES NO EXCEPTIONS. Saturday, March 16 10:00 – 1:00 (Girls on Pointe); 2:30 – 5:30 (ALL) ** Additional rehearsals will be on weekends, schedule TBD** Tue July 9 – Thur July 11, late afternoon or evening rehearsals TBD Friday, July 12 11:00 – 5:00 Dress Rehearsal • ALL children must have a work permit valid through July 15, 2013 AT THE TIME OF THE AUDITION. Please make arrangements to secure a work permit prior to the audition date. • Children selected for the cast will be paid a stipend for rehearsals and performances.
