5:30pm-8:30pm
(registration begins at 4:45pm)

GIRLS: |
- Height must be 5’5” or under, 8-14
years old by audition date
- Audition attire: leotard, tights & ballet slippers,
hair in a bun
(pointe shoes are not required)

BOYS: |
- Height must be 5’5” or under, 8-14
years old by audition date
- Audition attire: t-shirt, tights & ballet slippers

REHEARSALS: ***Attendance at ALL rehearsals is MANDATORY***
|
- There is a mandatory full cast and parent meeting on Saturday,
September 24, at the Kennedy Center.
- Rehearsals begin Saturday, September 24, and continue
until performance week.
- Children will generally rehearse Friday evenings and/or
Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
- Children will not be called to all rehearsals but can
expect to rehearse 2-6 hours weekly.
- Rehearsals will take place in Silver Spring, MD and at
The Kennedy Center. Children are
- also required to attend technical rehearsals at The Kennedy
Center, currently scheduled Wednesday, December 7, and Thursday,
December 8, from noon onward.

PERFORMANCES: |
- Total of 7 performances December 8–11:
- Thu 7:30 // Fri – Sat 1:30 and 7:30 // Sun 1 and
6

PLEASE NOTE: |
- There is no fee to participate in this audition.
- There is a free shuttle between the Center and Foggy Bottom
Metro (blue/orange lines).
- There is parking at the Kennedy Center for $20.
- Parents and teachers are NOT permitted to watch the audition.
