As a continuo player on the theorbo, Kiss played for several stage productions, including ballets and operas by Henry Purcell, Francesco Cavalli and Marc-Antoine Charpentier. With his ensemble for old music Mosaico Vocale, he gave numerous concerts playing solo renaissance repertoire as well as accompanying sacred music and madrigals. He is a guest musician at the Stuttgart National Theatre, where he was engaged as a soloist in the ballets Orlando, choreographed by Marco Goecke to music by Michael Tippett and Leonce and Lena, choreographed by Christian Spuck. He was also engaged for the operas Island of Ghosts by Ming Tsao as well as La Juive by Jacques F. Halévy. Apart from solo recitals, Kiss has been an invited solo guitar player by several orchestras and has given various solo concerts in Valencia and Athens, among others. In 2011, Kiss was invited to perform as a soloist at the Academic Chamber Orchestra Karlsruhe, playing the Guitar Concerto, Op 30 by Mauro Giuliani. He is a scholar of Riebesam-Foundation Promotion of Art and Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now. Kiss made his first appearance with American Ballet Theatre as the guitar soloist in Demis Volpi’s ballet Private Light.
