To audition for ABT Studio Company, you must be between the ages
of 16-20 years old and have reached an advanced level of ballet
training. Space in ABT Studio Company is extremely limited.

Dancers attending an open audition, should bring with them a current
resume/ curriculum vitae (including height and date of birth), photograph
in first arabesque and headshot. The audition will include technique,
partnering and ABT repertory. Both of the auditions below are
in conjunction with the ABT Summer Intensive audition.

full-length pink tights and black leotards with ballet slippers
and pointe shoes

white t-shirt or leotard, full-length black tights and ballet
slippers.

| No legwarmers, skirts, or loose fitting
clothing. |
If you are unable to attend one of the above open auditions, you
can submit a video audition. Video (ten minutes maximum) should
include work at the barre and in the center consisting of adagio,
petit allegro and grand allegro. Women: please include a pirouette
combination en pointe with both en dehors and
en dedans turns. Men: please include a combination with
tours en l’air. A classical variation may also be
included.
Video applications are accepted year-round. Please mail DVD, resume/curriculum
