Peter Jay Sharp Introduction for Dance   American Ballet Theatre distributes more than 10,000 complimentary tickets each year to metropolitan area school children for ballet performances at the Metropolitan Opera House and City Center. Students are given two performance tickets, so they may attend with a parent or guardian, making dance accessible to families who might not otherwise be able to afford it.
