A: Unfortunately, all tickets are non-refundable.
Q: Am I able to purchase a workshop ticket the
day of the pre-performance workshop?
A: Although most of our workshops sell out, last minute
tickets are sometimes available. Workshop registration closes
the day before the workshop at 5:00pm. If we have availability,
our website will provide instructions on how to purchase
tickets the morning of the workshop.
Q: Do I need to purchase workshop tickets if I
purchase the ABTKids VIP Experience?
A: No, a special post-performance workshop is included with
your VIP Experience purchase.
Q: What is the schedule for the morning?
A: For all workshops, doors open and registration begins
45 minutes prior to the scheduled start time. Pre-workshop
activities begin 30 minutes beforehand.
Q: Should I plan on attending the pre-workshop
A: Pre-workshop activities help prepare children and families
for the afternoon's ballet, often consisting of games
and activities that help introduce the story and characters
of the ballet. Additionally, as it takes between 5 and 10
minutes to get to the studios from the lobby, we recommend
arriving time 45 minutes prior to the start of the workshop
to ensure your participation in all workshop activities.
Q: How should my child come prepared for the workshop?
What should he/she wear?
A: All children are encouraged to wear comfortable fitting
clothes they are able to move in. Children are free to wear
their leotards, tights, and ballet slippers but are not
required. Children should come dressed as there are no changing
rooms, and space is limited in the restrooms.
Q: Could I bring a different child other than the
one that was registered?

Q: Will all the children stay together for the
duration of the workshop?
A: Children are divided into age appropriate groups and
stay in one studio for the matinee workshops, and two studios
for the ABTKids workshop.
ABT makes every effort possible to keep all children registered
together in the same studio. In the event that’s not
possible, ABT will contact you. Unfortunately, children
registering separately cannot be guaranteed placement in
the same group if they are different ages.
Q: Will lunch be provided?
A: No, lunch will not be provided.
Q: Where can I purchase food?
A: Lights snacks including sandwiches, paninis and desserts
are available throughout the Metropolitan Opera House pre-curtain
and at intermission (excluding ABTKids). The Grand
Tier restaurant is open two hours prior to curtain to all
Lincoln Center ticket holders. Reservations suggested. Please

Q: Is there any parking available near the Metropolitan
A: Yes, street parking is available on local streets but
is limited and not recommended.
The Lincoln Center “park and lock” parking
garage is located underneath Lincoln Center. It is open
to the public 24 hours a day. The entrances are on West
65th Street (between Columbus and Amsterdam Avenues) and
West 62nd Street (between Columbus and Amsterdam Avenues).
