AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE TO DEDICATE
PERFORMANCES OF THE NUTCRACKER
IN MEMORY OF JENNIFER ALEXANDER

12/13/2007 - American Ballet Theatre will dedicate its performances of The Nutcracker at The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC, December 18-23, to the memory of beloved Company member Jennifer Alexander. Alexander, who died tragically on December 2, was a member of ABT’s corps de ballet since 1994.

“I can think of no greater tribute for the Company to pay than with a gift of artistry. Jennifer was revered by her fellow dancers in the corps de ballet and respected as an artist by all of us,” said Artistic Director Kevin McKenzie.
