PART-TIME INTERN
Classification: Part-time, Intern, Unpaid
Department: Development
Reports to: Associate Director of Membership
General Description:
Primarily assists Ticketing Manager in the processing of in-house management
of single ticket orders for all ABT performance venues. Ticketing privileges
are extended to all individual donors giving annual gifts of $1,000 or
more.
| Specific Responsibilities: |
- Assists in the daily processing of requests for tickets
prior to and throughout performing engagements in all venues
|
- Responsible for data entry of ticket orders and seating preferences
in donor records in Raiser’s Edge
|
- Participates in department-wide activities such as fundraising events
|
- Fulfills other tasks assigned by the Associate Director of Membership
|
Position Qualifications:
Candidate for Bachelor’s degree and some administrative experience
is required (preferably in a performing arts or other cultural setting).
Must have excellent interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to organize
and prioritize multiple tasks to meet assigned deadlines. Must be detail-oriented
and willing to work evening when required. Proficiency in Microsoft Word,
and Excel is required; experience with Raiser’s Edge preferred. ABT
will help to fulfill academic credit, if applicable.
