AGE GUIDELINES FOR CHILDREN
American Ballet Theatre welcomes children and families to experience the magic of classical ballet during its performances of The Nutcracker. While parents should use their discretion based on the maturity level of their children, ABT recommends that children be at least 4 years of age to attend The Nutcracker. In determining if your child should attend ABT, it is important to know the child must be able to sit quietly and not disrupt the performance for other patrons. If a child becomes disruptive during a performance, BAM’s ushers will require the child and accompanying adult to leave the auditorium to watch the remainder of the performance on a video monitor in the Natman Room without refund of the ticket purchase. All attendees, regardless of age from infant to adult, must have a ticket to enter BAM and must sit in the seat indicated on the ticket.

SNOW POLICY
ABT is committed to honoring its performance calendar for The Nutcracker engagement, and it is ABT’s policy not to cancel performances due to weather conditions. If patrons cannot attend a performance, for whatever reason, they may donate tickets back to the Company only by calling BAM Ticket Services at 718.636.4100 prior to the performance to receive a tax-receipt.

MISSED PERFORMANCES

Ticket holders are responsible for noting date and time on their tickets. Unfortunately, ABT is not responsible if the performance is missed by ticket holders for any reason, including inclement weather, traffic conditions, plane cancellations or late arrivals, personal or family illness or competing events. All ticket sales are final and not subject to exchange.
