ABT’s 2023 Fall Gala, honoring Katie Couric and The Shubert Foundation, took place on Tuesday, October 24 at the David H. Koch Theater.
This one-night-only program featured ABT’s roster of Principal Dancers in excerpts from celebrated choreographers Harald Lander, Kenneth MacMillan, and Antony Tudor, alongside a World Premiere pas de deux by Principal Dancer James Whiteside.
The evening also showcased the young talent of ABT’s training programs, with over 150 apprentices, ABT Studio Company dancers, and students of the ABT Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School performing a piece set to to excerpts from Camille Saint-Saëns’s Carnival of the Animals, choreographed by Lauren Lovette and Rubén Martín.
