Pre-Performance Workshops
Join us prior to select performances for an hour of fun, hands-on activities. Bring your children ages 4 through 14 for an exciting and informative introduction to the works they will see on the Met stage.
Photo: Rosalie O'Connor.Children, divided by age, are invited to participate in activities directed by ABT Teaching Artists. The children are guided through a ballet warm-up and taught a short piece of choreography based on the performance they will attend immediately afterward. There is no need for any prior dance background, as we welcome all to experience the joy of dancing. Children are encouraged to wear their favorite dance clothes.
Workshop tickets are priced at $20 for each child and $20 for each adult.
Please note that the pre-performance workshops are only available to those who purchase tickets for the accompanying performance. Individual performance tickets will be available online, by phone, or in person at the Metropolitan Opera House box office beginning April 22, 2024.
2024 Season Subscribers may purchase tickets for $25 each prior to Monday, April 15.
