Paloma Livellara was born in Mendoza, Argentina, and began dancing at the age of three in Buenos Aires. After training in a variety of styles, she began to focus on ballet at the age of eight when she auditioned for the Instituto Superior de Arte del Teatro Colón. Throughout her ballet training in Argentina, she studied with Barbara Yacovone. Livellara was a finalist at the Youth America Grand Prix in 2016, 2017, and 2019. In 2019, she accepted a full scholarship from Luca Masala, director of the Académie de Danse Princesse Grace in Monaco, where she studied for five years. She was a finalist at the 2024 Prix de Lausanne, winning the Beaulieu Award and the Audience Favorite Award.
Livellara joined American Ballet Theatre Studio Company in September 2024, where she created a role in Houston Thomas’s U Don’t Know Me and performed in new works by Amy Hall Garner, Brady Farrar, and James Whiteside. Her repertoire with ABT Studio Company also included George Balanchine’s Tarantella, the Black Swan pas de deux from Swan Lake, Jerome Robbins’s Interplay, and Yannick Lebrun’s Human.
Livellara joined American Ballet Theatre as an apprentice in 2025.
