Robert Barnett

Biography
Born and raised in the Adirondacks, and a Phi Beta Kappa graduate from Dartmouth College, Robert Barnett has been co-Artistic Director of Pilobolus Dance Theatre for 33 years. In addition to his dance and choreographic work with Pilobolus, he has been variously employed as a technical metal worker, an instructor for Outward Bound, Inc., a garden and landscape designer, and has taught skiing and high school art.
The Garden of Villandry is Barnett’s first work for American Ballet Theatre.
