American Ballet Theatre is delighted to honor acclaimed actress, director, writer, and producer Katie Holmes at American Ballet Theatre’s 2026 Spring Gala on Wednesday, May 20 at Cipriani 42nd Street.

Caroline Kennedy will serve as Honorary Chair, continuing her family’s longstanding support of ABT.

A longtime friend of the Company, Holmes is a passionate advocate for the arts whose work reflects a deep appreciation for creativity and storytelling. Her connection to ABT underscores a genuine love of classical ballet and a shared commitment to nurturing the next generation of artists.

The evening will include a special preview of Don Quixote, newly staged by Artistic Director Susan Jaffe for ABT’s 2026 Summer season at the Metropolitan Opera House. This intimate presentation will capture the ballet’s romance, humor, and virtuosity, brought to life by ABT’s dancers, with each act lead by a different pair of Principal Dancers, including Skylar Brandt, Herman Cornejo, Isaac Hernández, Catherine Hurlin, Chloe Misseldine, and Christine Shevchenko.

The Spring Gala brings together leaders in the arts, philanthropy, and entertainment for a celebratory evening in support of ABT’s performances, education programs, and community initiatives.
