AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE TO PRESENT ABTKIDS, SATURDAY, OCTOBER 26 AT 11:30AM
Special One-hour Performance to Feature Excerpts from Offenbach in the Underworld and Within You Without You: A Tribute to George Harrison
American Ballet Theatre will present ABTKids at City Center on Saturday, October 26 at 11:30 a.m. Specially designed for children and families, the program offers an opportunity to expand a child’s understanding of ballet in an enjoyable setting.
The hour-long program, hosted by ABT Soloist Sandra Brown, will feature excerpts from the Company’s City Center repertoire, including Stanton Welch’s Something and Isn’t it a Pity? from Within You Without You: A Tribute to George Harrison, the pas de six through the Can-Can dance from Antony Tudor’s Offenbach in the Underworld and the Diana and Acteon Pas de Deux.
All seats for ABTKids are priced at $15 and may be purchased at the City Center box office, by calling 212-581-1212, or online at www.citycenter.org. City Center is located at 131 West 55th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues.
