A Daylong Immersive Experience for Adults 20 +
The ABT Masters Series is a daylong immersive experience for ballet fans to study one of ABT’s seminal classical works.
Designed for adults 20-years or older with beginner to advanced-beginner ballet experience, participants begin the day at ABT’s 890 Broadway studios for body conditioning and ballet technique classes before diving into a 90-minute repertoire workshop, exploring the history of the session’s ballet, its movement, and characters.
All workshops, classes and meet the artists are led by ABT Artistic Staff members, ABT Training Faculty or notable ABT alumni. All participants will receive an Orchestra ticket to attend that evening’s performance at Lincoln Center.

The 2024 ABT Masters Series will continue on Sunday, October 27, for ABT’s Signature Works program (The Kingdom of the Shades, Sinatra Suite, Sylvia Pas de Deux, and In the Upper Room) at the David H. Koch Theater in Lincoln Center.
The workshop will explore The Kingdom of the Shades, which is celebrating the 50th Anniversary of its American Ballet Theatre Premiere. This ballet was originally choreographed by Natalia Makarova after Marius Petipa and premiered on July 3, 1974 at the State Theatre (currently the David H. Koch Theater).

The daylong experience can be purchased for $250 USD, including workshop fees, pre-performance talk, and one Orchestra ticket to attend the evening performance at the David H. Koch Theater.
