The 2025 Fall Gala at Lincoln Center marked a defining moment in American Ballet Theatre’s 85-year history. Held at the David H. Koch Theater, the sold-out evening honored Misty Copeland in her final performance as a Principal Dancer with ABT, offering a tribute to her remarkable legacy and lasting influence.
Highlights included remarks by Oprah Winfrey and Debbie Allen, a celebratory dinner for nearly 900 guests, and a free simulcast at Alice Tully Hall presented in partnership with The Misty Copeland Foundation and Lincoln Center as part of ABT RISE. The evening celebrated Misty Copeland’s extraordinary career and reflected ABT’s ongoing commitment to making ballet more inclusive, inspiring, and accessible to all.
