Since 1996, American Ballet Theatre’s Summer Intensive programs have offered the opportunity for young dancers to work alongside and learn from ABT’s world-class faculty and alumni. Over 50% of the Dancers in American Ballet Theatre’s main Company have attended a Summer Intensive program, including 6 Soloists and 11 Principal Dancers.
The ABT Summer Intensive focuses on developing well-rounded dancers through exposure to a wide variety of disciplines with an emphasis on classical ballet technique and key elements of ABT’s National Training Curriculum.
In 2026, ABT launches its newest Summer Intensive, designed for adult ballet students with experience. This weeklong program takes place at ABT’s 890 Broadway studios and provides the opportunity to train with American Ballet Theatre faculty and experience firsthand the journey that many of the Company’s professional dancers have traveled.
Don’t miss this unique opportunity to step inside the ballet studio and experience America’s National Ballet Company®!
