ABT's Culinary Pas de Deux
at The Lighthouse at Pier 61 in New York City,
Monday, March 12 at 7:00 P.M.

On Monday evening, March 12 at 7:00 P.M., American Ballet Theatre will present its fifteenth Culinary Pas de Deux, a unique evening of dining and dancing, at The Lighthouse at Pier 61 in
New York City. Hosted by ABT Principal Dancer Marcelo Gomes and Soloists Misty Copeland and Craig Salstein, the event will feature samplings from some of New York City’s most celebrated chefs, pairings from several premier wineries and inventive cocktails designed by the city’s top mixologists. The evening will also include original performances by ABT dancers.

Guest chefs for the 2012 Culinary Pas de Deux will include Brandon Kida of Asiate, Julieta Ballesteros of Crema, Michael Ferraro of Delicatessen, Vito Gnazzo of Il Gattopardo, Philippe Massoud of Ilili, Gary Heyden and Claudia Fleming of North Fork Table and Inn, Terrance Brennan of Picholine, Maximo Tejada of Rayuela, Larissa Raphael of Telepan and Marco A. Moreira of Tocqueville. A silent auction featuring exclusive luxury items will be conducted throughout the evening.

The Culinary Pas de Deux, which benefits ABT’s Spring Season at the Metropolitan Opera House, is co-chaired by Ruthe Ponturo, Melissa Smith, Beth Chartoff Spector and Jason Spector. Asha Talwar will serve as Junior Co-Chair for the evening.
