Alejandro Valera Outlaw, born in Madrid, Spain, began his dance training at a local ballet school before joining El Real Conservatorio Profesional de Danza Mariemma<, participating in national competitions and winning several awards and scholarships. After attending The Royal Ballet School Summer Intensive, he trained at The Royal Ballet School from 2018-2021. While at The Royal Ballet School, he won awards for his progress in classical ballet training and his degree dissertation in Classical Ballet and Dance Performance. He performed at the opening ceremony of the 2020 Youth Winter Olympics in Lausanne, Switzerland, as well as in works by Goto Montero and Frederick Ashton. He received The Ballet Association Award in 2020.
Valera Outlaw joined ABT Studio Company in September 2021, became an apprentice with the main Company in November 2023, and joined the corps de ballet in January 2024.
