ABT and Brooklyn Botanic Garden
Celebrate The Nutcracker with
Waltz of the Flowers Workshop
Saturday, November 19 at 1:00 P.M.
American Ballet Theatre will celebrate its production of The Nutcracker with a special Waltz of the Flowers workshop for young dancers at Brooklyn Botanic Garden on Saturday afternoon, November 19 from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. Designed for children ages 4 through 12, the workshop will include basic ballet instruction by an ABT teaching artist and an opportunity to participate in craft activities in the Garden’s Steinhardt Conservatory. Registrants will also be entered to win a family four-pack of tickets to American Ballet Theatre’s upcoming performances of The Nutcracker at BAM.
The “Waltz of the Flowers” workshop is free with admission to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Children must be accompanied by an adult and pre-registration is required, as space is limited. To register online, visit www.bbg.org or https://www.abt.org/performances/promo_p_eNut.asp.
Admission to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden is free for children age 11 and under, $5 for students ages 12 and over, $10 for adults, and $5 for seniors age 65 and over.
