ABT Studio Company and
The Royal Ballet School to Perform
at the Ailey Citigroup Theater,
March 26 and 27, 2013

ABT Studio Company and the graduate students of The Royal Ballet School (RBS) will perform a shared bill at The Ailey Citigroup Theater on Tuesday,#44; March 26, and Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at 7:00 P.M. Performances by ABT Studio Company will include George Balanchine’s Tarantella, Raymond Lukens’ Jerusalem Divertissement, and excerpts from Alexei Ratmansky’s Le Carnaval des Animaux and Paul Taylor’s Airs. The RBS repertory will include Sir Frederick Ashton’s Rhapsody, Jiří Bubeníček’s Canon in D Major, excerpts from Maurice Bejart’s Seven Greek Dances, Ashley Page’s Larina Waltz and the pas de deux from Le Corsaire.

The shared performances are part of a unique exchange, which began in 2003, between ABT Studio Company (formerly ABT II) and The Royal Ballet School. During past exchanges the companies have traveled to each other’s respective homes for performances, master classes and training sessions with senior coaching staff. The two groups last participated in this exchange in 2012.

Performances by The Royal Ballet School and ABT Studio Company at the Ailey Citigroup Theatre will take place at 7 P.M. on Tuesday, March 26 and
