ABTKids, a unique hour-long program designed for children and families, will present a performance of highlights from the Company’s 2012 Spring Season on Saturday, May 19 at 11:30 AM at the Metropolitan Opera House.
Hosted by former ABT dancer Kate Lydon, the ABTKids program will include Maria Riccetto and Blaine Hoven in the peasant pas de deux from Giselle, Simone Messmer and Luis Ribagorda in an excerpt from The Bright Stream, Hee Seo and Cory Stearns in the pas d’action from La Bayadère and Yuriko Kajiya and Jared Matthews in Tchaikovsky Pas de Deux. Audience members will get a first look at Alexei Ratmansky’s Firebird as Isabella Boylston performs an excerpt from the new production.
