American Ballet Theatre’s Junior Council will host the third annual Juniors for Juniors benefit on Wednesday, February 22 at the Tribeca Grand Hotel in New York City. The evening, sponsored by Sundance Selects, Guerlain, Tribeca Treats and GrandLife Hotels, will begin at 7:00P.M. with a private screening of the documentary film First Position which stars JKO Principal Franco De Vita and JKO student Michaela DePrince. A cocktail reception immediately following the film will include a silent auction and raffle.

The ABT Junior Council’s Juniors for Juniors fundraising event was inaugurated in 2010 with the goal of raising funds to support a scholarship for a student in the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School at American Ballet Theatre. The JKO School is a pre-professional ballet training program for students, ages 10-18. Under the direction of Franco De Vita, Principal, students thrive in an elite atmosphere dedicated to the success of each student. Admission is by audition only.

American Ballet Theatre’s Junior Council is a young patron’s program for professionals, between the ages 21-40, dedicated to the celebration and enjoyment of American Ballet Theatre’s world-class performances. As one of New York’s premier membership groups, the Junior Council aims to build a base of supporters whose commitment will be vital to ABT in the years to come.

Tickets for Juniors for Juniors are $75-$200. Tickets for non-members start at $125. For more information or to purchase tickets, please contact elange@abt.org.
