American Ballet Theatre’s Culinary Pas de Deux returns to Manhattan’s Puck Building, 293 Lafayette Street (at Houston Street), on March 31, 2003. The fundraiser, supporting ABT’s Spring Season at the Metropolitan Opera House, will feature samplings of premier cuisine prepared by over 30 celebrity chefs representing New York’s finest restaurants and selections from preeminent wineries. A silent auction and performances by ABT’s world-class dancers will complete the evening.

Co-chaired by Madeline Eckett Oden and Jerry Ruotolo, the evening begins at 6:30 P.M. with a cocktail hour and silent auction of unique behind-the-scenes ABT experiences, culinary offerings, distinctive travel and sports packages and luxury items.

Following the cocktail hour, ABT’s dancers will present costumed excerpts from the Company’s repertory. After the performance, guests are invited to tastings from New York’s best chefs who have donated their services for the evening, including Nicole Kaplan of 11 Madison Park, Fortunato Nicotra of Felidia, Antoine Bouterin of Bouterin, Craig Harzewski and Bill Telepan of Judson Grill, Teresa Barrenechea of Marichu, Andrew DiCataldo of Patria, Terrance Brennan of Picholine and Artisinal and Gary Coyle of Tavern on the Green.
