AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE TO LAUNCH NEW WEBSITE

American Ballet Theatre will launch a newly designed and updated website on Friday, May 2, 2003, it was announced today by Executive Director Elizabeth Kehler. The launch will coincide with the opening of ABT’s Spring Season at the Metropolitan Opera House, May 5-June 28.

On the newly designed site, visitors to www.abt.org may purchase tickets online by linking directly to each venue’s online box office&#44#44; receive up-to-date casting announcements and learn the latest news about the Company. The refreshed site, designed by Mobius Web Inc., will have an updated look to reinforce ABT’s brand identity with many new photos and features. Many aspects of ABT’s former website will remain, including repertory archives, an online ballet dictionary and photo galleries.

American Ballet Theatre’s 2003 Metropolitan Opera House season is sponsored by UBS, ABT’s National Presenting Sponsor, and Movado Watch Company, a leading benefactor. ABT’s spring season is made possible with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts, a state agency, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
