AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE'S CULINARY PAS DE DEUX AT THE COPACABANA IN NEW YORK CITY
MONDAY, APRIL 4 AT 6:30PM

American Ballet Theatre will present its 10th annual Culinary Pas de Deux at the Copacabana in New York City on Monday evening, April 4, 2005 at 6:30 P.M. Chefs from over 25 New York City restaurants will offer culinary samplings and guests will enjoy a special Latin inspired performance by dancers from American Ballet Theatre. The evening, which benefits ABT’s Spring Season at the Metropolitan Opera House, will also include wine tastings by several premiere wineries and a silent auction.

Co-chaired by Madeline Eckett Oden and Jerry Ruotolo, the Culinary Pas de Deux will be highlighted by a silent auction featuring luxury items, including unique behind-the-scenes ABT experiences, culinary offerings, and distinctive travel and sports packages. Co-chairs for the silent auction are Peg Ranieri and Irene Shen.

Following the performance, guests are invited to tastings prepared by chefs from some of New York’s finest restaurants, including 11 Madison Park, Gramercy Tavern, Nobu, Tavern on the Green, Café des Artistes, Tocqueville, Tribeca Grill and Frederick’s.

Underwriting sponsors for the Culinary Pas de Deux are Alliance Capital Management, Arlene and Harvey Blau, Fortress Investment Group, Lehman Brothers, Merrill Lynch GMI, Ranieri & Company, Harbourton Enterprises, Susan Fawcett Sosin, Wachovia Securities, Monica and Ali Wambold, and United Airlines.
