AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE'S CULINARY PAS DE DEUX AT THE HAMMERSTEIN BALLROOM IN NEW YORK CITY MONDAY, FEBRUARY 27 AT 6:30PM

American Ballet Theatre will present its 11th annual Culinary Pas de Deux at The Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City on Monday evening, February 27, 2006 at 6:30 P.M. Guests will be treated to culinary samplings by chefs from over 25 New York City restaurants, wine tastings by several premier wineries, and a silent auction throughout. The evening, which will also feature ABT dancers performing a suite from
Sir Kenneth MacMillan’s Romeo and Juliet, benefits ABT’s Spring Season at the Metropolitan Opera House.

Following the performance, guests are invited to tastings prepared by some of New York’s finest chefs, including Jean-Georges Vongerichten from 66, George and Jennifer Lang from Café des Artistes, Vincent Chirico from Frederick’s Madison, John Schaefer from Gramercy Tavern, John Molito from Tavern on the Green and Stephen Lewandowski from Tribeca Grill.

Co-chaired by Madeline Eckett Oden, Peg Ranieri and Jerry Ruotolo, the Culinary Pas de Deux will be highlighted by a silent auction featuring luxury items, including unique behind-the-scenes ABT experiences, culinary offerings, and distinctive travel and sports packages. The silent auction is chaired by Irene Shen.

Underwriting sponsors for the Culinary Pas de Deux are Alliance Capital Management, Corinne Ball, Banc of America Securities, Fortress Investment Group, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Kramer, Lehman Brothers, Merrill Lynch GMI, Ranieri & Company, Susan F. Sosin and Wachovia Securities.
