AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE'S CULINARY PAS DE DEUX AT THE PUCK BUILDING IN NEW YORK CITY, MONDAY, MARCH 8 AT 6:30PM
Over 25 of New York's Premier Restaurants to be Represented
American Ballet Theatre will present its 9th annual Culinary Pas de Deux at the Puck Building in New York City on March 8, 2004. Celebrity chefs from over 25 of New York’s finest restaurants will offer samplings of premier cuisine and ABT dancers will give an intimate performance. The evening, benefiting ABT’s Spring Season at the Metropolitan Opera House, will also feature a silent auction.
Co-chaired by Madeline Eckett Oden and Jerry Ruotolo along with Corporate Chair Lawrence J. Shaw, the Culinary Pas de Deux begins at 6:30 P.M. with cocktails and a silent auction featuring luxury items including unique behind-the-scenes ABT experiences, culinary offerings, and distinctive travel and sports packages. Co-chairs for the silent auction are Ellen Schiavone and Peg Ranieri.
Following the cocktail hour, the dancers of American Ballet Theatre will perform excerpts from the Company’s eclectic repertory including ABT’s new production of Raymonda, While My Guitar Gently Weeps from Within You Without You: A Tribute to George Harrison and Nacho Duato’s Without Words. Post-performance, guests are invited to tastings prepared by New York’s best chefs who have donated their services for the evening,#44; including Nicole Kaplan of 11 Madison Park, Richard Brown of Astor Court at the St. Regis, Wendy Malouf of Beacon, George Lang of Café des Artistes, Pascal Guillotin of Capsouto Frères, Florian Bellnager of Fauchon, David Féau of Lutèce, Scott Romano of Kitchen 22/Kitchen 82, Philippe Bertineau of Payard, Marcus Samuelsen of Ringo, Micol Negrin of Rustico Cooking, Floyd Caroz of Tabla, Stephen Lewandowski of Tribeca Grill, Stefano Terzi of Viceversa and Natalie Zaldivar of Victor’s Café.
