ETHAN STIEFEL TO WITHDRAW FROM PERFORMANCES AT METROPOLITAN OPERA HOUSE DUE TO INJURY
American Ballet Theatre Principal Dancer Ethan Stiefel will withdraw from performances this Spring at the Metropolitan Opera House due to injury, it was announced today by Artistic Director Kevin McKenzie.
Stiefel has injuries to both knees, which will require surgery. Recovery is expected to be four to six months. Stiefel expects to return for the Company’s 2006
N. Y. City Center season in October.
