The John F. Kennedy Center for the matinee performance of The Nutcracker on Saturday, December 22, 2007. The afternoonā€™s events will include a pre-performance workshop followed by lunch at The Kennedy Center, as well as a post-performance on-stage meet-and-greet with the dancers of American Ballet Theatre.
This event is made possible by a grant from The Sallie Mae Fund, the Official Sponsor of ABTā€™s 2007-2008 Washington, D.C. Initiatives.

ABTā€™s pre-performance workshops are hour-long workshops tailored to introduce children to explore the ballets they will be watching on stage. ABT teaching artists introduce the basics of character study and creative movement through various activities.
