Amanda Lindamood is a New York City based dance educator, performer, and choreographer. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, she began her dance training at the age of four at Cleveland Dance Academy and has been dancing ever since. She pursued her BA in Dance, Psychology, and Cognitive Science at Case Western Reserve University on a full tuition scholarship awarded by the Department of Dance. She received her Master of Arts in Dance Education: Teaching in the Professions and ABT Ballet Pedagogy offered through NYU’s Steinhardt School & ABT.
Lindamood is an ABT Certified Teacher in Levels Pre-Primary through Level 7 & Partnering.
Outside of the ABT Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School Children’s Division, Lindamood holds a faculty position at the Steps on Broadway Academy. She is also the BE BOLD Program Coordinator at the Misty Copeland Foundation.
