Amanda Lindamood
Biography

Amanda Lindamood is a New York City-based dance educator, performer, and choreographer. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, she began her dance training at the age of four at Cleveland Dance Academy and has been dancing ever since. She pursued a BA in Dance, Psychology, and Cognitive Science at Case Western Reserve University on a full tuition scholarship awarded by the Department of Dance. She received a Master of Arts in Dance Education: Teaching in the Professions and ABT Ballet Pedagogy through NYU Steinhardt in partnership with American Ballet Theatre.
Lindamood is an ABT Certified Teacher in Levels Pre-Primary through Level 7 and Partnering.
Outside of the ABT Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School Children’s Division, Lindamood is on the faculty at Steps on Broadway Academy, serves as the Senior Programs Manager at the Misty Copeland Foundation, and is the Co-Founder of Avenue M Dance Theater.
