Anastacia Holden

Biography

Anastacia Holden began her ballet training in her hometown of Ann Arbor, Michigan, and joined the Joffrey Ballet in 2003. During her career, Holden was honored to perform in and originate soloist and principal roles by various choreographers, including Frederick Ashton, George Balanchine, Alexander Ekman, William Forsythe, James Kudelka, Jiří Kylián, Annabelle Lopez-Ochoa, Wayne McGregor, Justin Peck, Yuri Possokhov, Paul Taylor, Stanton Welch, and Christopher Wheeldon.

Since 2017, Holden has staged works for Alexander Ekman, Annabelle Lopez-Ochoa, Cathy Marston, Marcos Morau, John Neumeier, and Christopher Wheeldon, and worked with some of the most reputable ballet companies the world over. In 2023, Holden joined Ballett Zürich as a Rehearsal Director.
