Biography
Brandon Stirling Baker is a lighting designer working internationally in the areas of ballet, opera and theatre. His work can be seen in the repertories of New York City Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Hong Kong Ballet, Boston Ballet, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Miami City Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Houston Ballet, Dutch National Ballet, Semperoper Ballet, Berlin State Ballet, Cincinnati Ballet, Pennsylvania Ballet and many others. Baker has worked with a diverse group of visual artists, choreographers and composers including Justin Peck, Jamar Roberts, Savion Glover, Sufjan Stevens, Shepard Fairy and Daniel Buren among many others. In 2018, Baker was appointed lighting director of the Boston Ballet.
