Daniel Guzmán

Daniel Guzmán began his training in his hometown of Isle de Margarita, Venezuela, under the direction of Martha Gomez, Artistic Director of Ballet de la Mar. He won numerous competitions in Venezuela and after graduation from Ballet de la Mar, Guzmán moved to the United States to continue his training. In 2023, he was the gold medalist at the Youth America Grand Prix Finals and was the Grand Prix Winner at the Universal Ballet Competition.
Guzmán joined American Ballet Theatre Studio Company in January 2024, where he created a role in Young & Beautiful by James Whiteside and performed in new works by Houston Thomas, Amy Hall Garner, Madison Brown, and Brady Farrar. Guzmán’s other repertoire with ABT Studio Company included George Balanchine’s Tarantella, Jerome Robbins’s Interplay, Yannick Lebrun’s Human, and pas de deux from Diana and Acteon, Don Quixote, Swan Lake, and Gerald Arpino’s Birthday Variations.
Guzmán joined the main Company as an apprentice in 2025.
