Originally from Gwangyang, South Korea, Geonhee Park began his ballet training at the age of 12. He studied at Sun-hwa Arts Middle School, Sun-hwa Arts High School, and was a member of the Universal Ballet Junior Company. After graduating, he continued to study ballet at the Korea National University of Arts. Park was a finalist at the 2022 Prix de Lausanne and won the Grand Prix at the 2024 Youth America Grand Prix Finals in New York City.
In September 2025, Park joined American Ballet Theatre Studio Company in September 2025 where his repertoire included Bernstein in a Bubble, Grand Pas Classique, Interplay, Variations for Three, and the pas d’action from La Bayadère. He performed in Alexei Ratmansky’s The Nutcracker with ABT’s main Company in 2025.
In 2026, Park performed the pas de trois in Swan Lake as a guest artist with Universal Ballet in Korea.
Park joined American Ballet Theatre as an apprentice in 2026.
