Jack Mehler made his American Ballet Theatre debut with Othello: A Dance in Three Acts, having previously designed over a dozen Lar Lubovitch works for the Lar Lubovitch Dance Company, San Francisco Ballet, Hubbard Street Dance, among others. Additional dance work includes Atlanta Ballet, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, Ballet Austin, BalletMet, Ballet Memphis, Ballet West, Buglisi Dance Theatre, Donald Byrd/Spectrum Dance, Colorado Ballet, Houston Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, New York City Ballet, Richmond Ballet, Washington Ballet, and many others. Jack received the 2012 Korean Musical Theatre Award (Korean Tony) for Elisabeth and the 2013 award for Rebecca. Other theatre work includes North Shore Music Theatre, Paper Mill Playhouse, Princess Cruise Lines/Stephen Schwartz, Riverside Theatre, Seattle Rep, Syracuse Stage, Walnut Street Theatre, the Working Theatre, and the WPA Theatre. He is a founding board member of A.C.T. of Connecticut and consults for performing arts organizations building and renovating arts facilities.
