Jaime Hickey


Biography

Jaime Hickey was born in Bayonne, NJ and received her initial training at Ms. Neuberts Ballet Institute in Carnegie Hall, New Jersey Ballet, and was also a Preliminary Champion Irish dancer with the DeNogla School of Irish Step Dancing.

Jaime furthered her training at the Walnut Hill School for the Arts in Natick, MA. Jaime also trained privately with Fabrice Herrault.

In 2005, Jaime attended the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School at American Ballet Theatre. Here she studied under the direction Franco DeVita and Raymond Lukens.

Jaime was an American Ballet Theatre National Training Scholar. Upon graduation from JKO, Jaime joined American Ballet Theatre II directed by Wes Chapman during which she performed White Swan Pas de Deux, Raymonda, Jerome Robbins’ Interplay, George Balanchine’s Allegro Brilliant and more.

In 2009, Jaime joined the Joffrey Ballet of Chicago under the direction of Ashley Wheater. Here, her repertoire included George Balanchine’s Stravinsky Violin Concerto Aria II, Lar Lubovitch’s OTHELLO, Jerome Robbin’s The Concert, Robert Joffrey’s The Nutcracker, Frederik Ashton’s Cinderella, Tom Ruud’s Mobile, Ronald Hynd’s The Merry Widow, Nijinsky’s The Right of Spring, Yuri Possokhov’s Don Quixote, as well as work by Edwaard Liang, Jessica Lang, James Kudelka and Julia Adam.
