Jeremy Jacob

Biography

Jeremy Jacob is a New York based filmmaker and designer for film, television, photography, stage, and web.

Short films include “Good Night”, “Dear Merce”, and “State of Desire”. In 2020, Jacob co-created “Nowhere Apparent” with Jack Ferver in reaction to their researching of the “AIDS Oral History Project” at The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts; directed the virtual iteration of Netta Yerushalmy’s “Paramodernities”; created two short films (“Good Night” with Jack Ferver and “Talk Talk” with Reid Bartelme and Harriet Jung) for Works & Process at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum; and directed two music videos for Chris Garneau’s forthcoming album.

Notable production designs for stage include Jack Ferver’s Everything Is Imaginable (New York Live Arts) and Desire (Bard College). Jacob is the co-creator and producer of the “Dance And Stuff” podcast as well as the creator/director of “The Dance And Stuff Show.”
