Jillian Vanstone

Biography
Jillian Vanstone is a stager and rehearsal director for Christopher Wheeldon, as well as a freelance producer.
A former Principal Dancer with the National Ballet of Canada, throughout her 22 year performance career Vanstone was celebrated for her unique storytelling ability and exceptional technique. Her repertoire spanned the 19th century classics, the masterworks of the 20th century, and new ballets by today’s leading choreographers. She is best known for her interpretation of Alice in Christopher Wheeldon’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.
Vanstone retired from the stage in March 2022 with Christopher Wheeldon’s renowned After the Rain. She has since been working internationally, including with Hamburg Ballet, The Royal Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, The National Ballet of Canada, Wiener Stattsoper, Queensland Ballet, and Fall for Dance North.
