Kate Lydon

Biography

Kate Lydon is an alumna of both American Ballet Theatre and San Francisco Ballet. She has assisted with teaching the National Training Curriculum, both at ABT and for the Masters degree in pedagogy offered through the New York University’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development. Lydon has been on faculty at ABT’s Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School, New York Summer Intensive and Young Dancer Summer Workshop, and also teaches class for ABT’s Main Company. Lydon currently acts as Editor at Large for all of Dance Media’s publications including Dance Magazine, Pointe, Dance Spirit and Dance Teacher, and served as Editor in Chief of Dance Spirit for five years. Lydon also serves on the Board of the Dizzy Feet Foundation.
