Lilia Greyeyes was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and began her dance training in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, at the age of two. She was accepted into Canada’s National Ballet School in 2016, where she trained under Martine Lamy and Vera Timashova. At NBS, Greyeyes performed the principal role in Paquita and the lead woman in Autumn, an excerpt from James Kudelka’s The Four Seasons. Greyeyes graduated from Canada’s National Ballet School in June 2022, receiving the Peter Dwyer Scholarship.
In 2022, she attended the American Ballet Theatre New York Summer Intensive before continuing her training at the ABT Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School, under the direction of Stella Abrera. Greyeyes joined ABT Studio Company in January 2023 where she originated a role in James Whiteside’s Young & Beautiful. Her other ABT Studio Company repertoire included pas de deux from Kenneth MacMillan’s Concerto and Alexei Ratmansky’s The Seasons.
Greyeyes became an apprentice with American Ballet Theatre in September 2024.
