Lynne Taylor-Corbett

Biography

Lynne Taylor-Corbett received Tony Award® and Drama Desk Award nominations Broadway’s Swing! (2000) and Drama Desk Award and Lucille Lortel Award nominations for My Vaudeville Man (2008) and Wanda’s World (2008). In 2024, she directed and co-wrote the book for Distant Thunder, which was performed Off-Broadway in New York City.

Taylor-Corbett’s choreography can be seen in the feature films Footloose, My Blue Heaven, and Bewitched, and her dance works have been commissioned by New York City Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, among others. Companies throughout the world have performed her works which have been seen on Live from Lincoln Center, Live from the San Francisco Opera House, and on UNC-TV.

Taylor-Corbett is a member of the Society for Directors and Choreographers, and proud to be on the Counsel of Advisors for the Association on American Indian Affairs, an organization that provides amazing service throughout Native Country.
