Drawing from her personal history as a dancer with both The Royal Ballet and American Ballet Theatre, Gemma Bond has assembled a feast of classical dancing for our contemporary times, imbued with a joyful reverence for ballet’s heritage. Her creation nods to Léonide Massine’s 1919 ballet La Boutique Fantasque, made for Diaghilev’s Ballets Russes, sharing its colorful score by Gioachino Rossini, orchestrated by Ottorino Respighi.
