Running Time: 32 minutes

Set to Mozart’s “Sinfonia Concertante in E flat Major for Violin, Viola, and Orchestra,” Symphonie Concertantepairs two principal dancers with the solo violin and viola. A beautiful and simple structure emerges as the dancers weave in and out of the music.

Garden Blue features choreography by Jessica Lang and interactive sets designed by Sarah Crowner. This unique collaboration is described as “sculptural and lyrical” by DanceTabs’s Marina Harss.

The first ballet Jerome Robbins ever choreographed, Fancy Free is an American classic. While a young dancer at American Ballet Theatre, Robbins collaborated with Leonard Bernstein to create a narrative ballet that was an instant success. This playful tale of three sailors on leave in New York City inspired the hugely successful musical On The Town.
